Hi, I’m Kelsey Crabtree (she/her), a licensed therapist passionate about helping women, moms, and cycle breakers heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship—in spaces where you feel seen, heard, and deeply respected. I specialize in supporting women across the lifespan as they navigate anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, neurodivergence, and the layered, often invisible work of caregiving and self-discovery.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like they’ve lost parts of themselves while trying to hold everything together. Whether you’re a mom in the thick of it, a woman carrying generational wounds, or someone trying to understand your brain and body more deeply—therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to mask, minimize, or go it alone.
I show up with warmth, humor, and compassion. My style is relational, trauma-informed, and affirming. I draw from approaches like attachment theory, inner child work, somatic awareness, and feminist therapy—while always centering your lived experience and intuition.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a big believer in community care and finding joy in small, grounding rituals (bonus points if they involve coffee, music, or nature).
Now for some information on my background: I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Music Performance from the University of TN at Chattanooga in 2013. I then went on to earn my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same university in 2016. Following graduation, I worked intensely with youth and families at a nonprofit. I have experience with many various mental health issues and diagnoses and I have training in several models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Community Advocacy Project (CAP), and Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA).
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, action- and goal-oriented. When we meet, I want to make sure you leave feeling validated but also with some tools to put into practice in your life outside of session. We will set goals together and regularly check in on progress toward these goals, determining where revisions may be needed. Also, no matter what life outside of session is like, I want to create a calm and safe space for you to be able to think and process clearly. If you have any questions about me or what to expect, please reach out. I’m looking forward to working with you!
